Dongguan Jinyu Clothing Co., Ltd. has deepened its cooperation with SHEIN, with a monthly production capacity exceeding 150,000 pieces
Recently, Dongguan Jinyu Clothing Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Jinyu Clothing") announced that its cooperation with global fast fashion e-commerce giant SHEIN has been further deepened, and it has become one of its core suppliers. With mature garment processing experience and efficient design and development capabilities, Jinyu Clothing's current monthly output has exceeded 150,000 pieces, and it is continuously expanding into emerging markets such as Malaysia, demonstrating a strong growth momentum.
Ten years of accumulation, from OEM to ODM upgrade
Jinyu Clothing was formerly known as Dongguan Humen Jialiu Clothing Processing Factory established in 2013. In its early days, it mainly engaged in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) of clothing. In 2021, the company seized the opportunity of cross-border e-commerce, successfully entered SHEIN's supply chain system, and formed a professional design team, transforming into a comprehensive service provider with ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) capabilities.
"The cooperation with SHEIN has enhanced our ability to respond quickly to market trends," said the person in charge of Jinyu Clothing. "Now, we can not only complete the processing based on customer samples, but also provide a one-stop solution from fabric selection, style design to production, reducing the delivery cycle by 20%."
Entering Southeast Asia, the Malaysian market has performed outstandingly
In 2022, Jinyu Clothing made a strategic layout in Southeast Asia, with Malaysia as its first stop. With its high cost-performance products and flexible supply chain advantages, the company quickly gained favor from local brand customers. At present, orders from Malaysia account for 30% of overseas business, becoming a new growth point for performance.
Industry analysis indicates that the annual growth rate of the clothing consumption market in Southeast Asia exceeds 8%, and there is a strong demand for fast fashion. Jinyu Clothing plans to set up offices in Vietnam or Indonesia within the next two years to further expand its reach in the ASEAN region.
Intelligent upgrade to build a sustainable supply chain
In response to the demand for production capacity, Jinyu Clothing has introduced automated cutting equipment and digital management systems in recent years, increasing production efficiency by 35%. Meanwhile, the company actively promotes environmental protection measures, such as using recycled fabrics and energy-saving processes, to meet the sustainable development requirements of international clients like SHEIN.
Looking ahead, Jinyu Clothing stated that it will increase investment in design and research and development, and explore the "small order quick response" model to help more small and medium-sized brands seize the fast fashion market.
